Abstract

The knowledge of Naskh, (Abrogation) is one of the fundamental educational aspects of Islam. Without it, impossible to understand the knowledge of the Holy Quran that is why scholars have confined that interpreter of the Quran should be the master of abrogation. It will help in interpretation and the comparer will have no chance of wrong interpretation.

Abrogation has a direct effect on the Ahkaam (provisions/judgments) enforced by Allah Almighty. due to misunderstanding of the abrogation, a huge change could occur in the rules of shariah. There is no compromise in any change in Aqa'id (belief system). The important provision among the provisions of All Almighty Allah is Salah, which has been titled by him as the pillar of Islam.

There are abrogated Quranic verses on Salah (prayer) such like Quranic verses about other provisions of Allah Almighty.

We have comprehensively studied the abrogated verses from the following 4 books which are considered to be the main theological books of Madhab e Arbaa (four Ahl-us-Sunnah schools of thought).1) Ahkam Al Quran, Al Jasas.2)Mafateeh Al Ghaeib, Al Razi.3)Ahkam Al Quran, Al Qurtabi.4)Al Lubab fi Aloom Al Kitaab, Ibn e Adil
