They preserved the Seerah with their actions (Practice) and sayings (preaching). Some of the Companions had also preserved some aspects of Seerah in book form. It discusses every aspect of life. Things have been discussed either shortly or in detail in Quran. Everyone in the world, who wants to write something, must quote Quran to make his point strong and lasting. Every writer, Muslim or non-Muslim refers to the text of the Quran to support his arguments and writings. Scholars from different branches of Islamic sciences refer to the Ayah and base their book or knowledge upon the recitation of the Quran. So that no one can refute it, and the reader must know that the source of this book, article, or knowledge is Quran. However, by studying Quran orient lists try to raise doubts about the text and recitations of the Holy Quran. The purpose of this study is to explore, if objections raised by orient lists affect the finality of Qur’anic recitations as evidence and whether their effort is successful or not. The inductive method has been adopted for this research; and by comparing objections and criticism raised by orient lists with Islamic shreds of evidence and by using a natural process of reasoning, Qur’anic recitations have been validated.
Muhammad Nasir, Dr. Tahir Masood Qazi Copyright (c) 2022 Hazaraislamicus https://hazaraislamicus.com/index.php/home/article/view/157 Tue, 20 Sep 2022 00:00:00 -0400 منتخب انبیاء کرام سے متعلق مستشرق ٹسڈال کے افکار کا ناقدانہ جائزہ:“The Original Sources Of Quran”کے تناظر میں https://hazaraislamicus.com/index.php/home/article/view/159
Orientalists are spreading Islam o phobia with the assistance of research .They prevail doubts and suspicions regarding Islam, Quran, Hadith and seerah. With the help of these sources it is easy to determine the true meaning of the Qur'an and Hadith, and erroneous interpretations can be avoided. Apart from these, an important and basic thing is the “Urf”, an Arabic term referring to the custom or knowledge of given society, which helps in understanding the meanings of the Qur'an and Sunnah. This status of the “Urf” has been acknowledged by the Qur'an and Sunnah itself. Hence Allama Ibn Abideen Shami has quoted that “Urf” has been quoted in Shariah, therefore sometimes Shariah rules are derived by “Urf”.

Imam Shah Wali Ullah (may Allah have mercy on him) has also considered the “Urf” in determining the meanings of the Hadith, and on various occasions has made it clear that because of the “Urf”, this meaning has been derived from the Hadith and the Verse at this point. This article gives a brief introduction to Shah Wali Ullah and his book Al-Musaffa, followed by a description of the literal meaning of the “Urf”, its types and role in determining the meaning of the Qur'an and Hadith. In addition, Shah Sahib's point of view about the said book been discussed and many examples have been given from this book where Shah Wali Ullah has defined the meaning of the words of Qur'an and Sunnah in terms of “Urf”,. In the end, the results and recommendations of the research are presented.

Ashraf Alī Thānvī was a prominent scholar in the history of sub-continent. He was a great Sufi (spiritual guider), theologian and Jurist. He studied in Dār al-ʿUlūm Deoband. When he completed his study in 1923, he chose three fields for his missionary work: sermons, teaching and compilation of books. He wrote over a thousand Islamic books in different aspects. In the sub-continent Shāh Walīullāh Al-Dehlawī and his sons’ contribution in the field of interpretation and sciences Holy Qurʼān of is of immense worth. They worked in these fields, so that the common people are made aware of the message of this Noble Book. Shah Abdul Qādir was the first scholar of this region who wrote translation of the Holy Qurʼān in Urdu Named Mouzuh Al-Qurʼān, Later on other commentators also adopted his method and followed his principles of translation, one of them is Ashraf Alī Thānvī, who wrote exegesis named Bayan Al-Qurʼān. In this tafsīr he focused on translation and exegesis of the Holy Qurʼān as well as Arabic sciences and especially rhetoric. In several verses he mentioned the forms of rhetoric and its beauties, from which the worth of this interpretation can be ascertained. An analytical study was direly needed to indicate these forms of rhetoric and its effect on the translation and interpretation of this tafsīr. Therefore, we choose one chapter of the Holy Qurʼān sūrah Luqmān, and studied it in details. The aim of this research study is to show the value of this interpretation, rhetorical forms and its beauties.
The issue of women prisoners of war is one of the important issues of modern time and people look for the solution of this issue on humanitarian grounds. This study aims at shedding light on women rights in the light of the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet and International Law. And the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet has guaranteed the protection of women rights in all aspects as it encouraged to free the prisoner women and providing all their rights and it prohibited the torture of women and harming them in all kinds. But, due to the distance of many people from the teachings of shariah, they consider that it is the International Law that protects the women prisoners of war. We welcome the declaration of international law regarding the rights of women prisoners of war. There is highlighting of the teachings of the Holy Prophet and about and his pleasant treatment of the women prisoners of war. Thus, it transpires from this study that the rights of prisoners of war is not the product of modern civilization which dates back to the French Revolution, rather these rights are the product of the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet which has guaranteed the protection of prisoners of war in general and women prisoners of war in particular.
Shamsuddin Rizwan Muhammad, Dr. Ismail Muhammad Amin Copyright (c) 2022 Hazaraislamicus https://hazaraislamicus.com/index.php/home/article/view/167 Thu, 22 Sep 2022 00:00:00 -0400 An Appraisal of Jewish History: Analysis of Ibn e Kathīr’s Approach https://hazaraislamicus.com/index.php/home/article/view/156
The paper focuses on the contribution of Ibn e Kathīr as a historian in general and a historian of Jewish and biblical history in particular. Though Ibn e Kathīr has remarkable contribution in various fields of Islamic sciences including Tafsīr, Hadith and sciences of Hadith, his contribution to the world history namely al bidayah wa al nihayah reveals yet another dimension of his scholarly figure as an historian. In this paper an attempt has been made to appreciate and evaluate the Jewish and the biblical history as presented by Ibn e Kathīr. It is the view of the authors that besides the specialized works of al Milal wa al Nihal the encyclopediac histories or the world histories are also sources for studying other religions from an Islamic perspective. Thus, in case of Ibn e kathīr it has been concluded that he has dealt with the Jewish history through the Quran and Sunnah perspective while he also relies on the biblical narratives for rebuilding the Jewish past. However, his treatment of the Jewish sources is nuanced by his Tafsīri or exegete lense where he looks upon these as Isra‘eliyāt.
Dr. Munazza Batool, Shagufta Amir Copyright (c) 2022 Hazaraislamicus https://hazaraislamicus.com/index.php/home/article/view/156 Wed, 01 Jun 2022 00:00:00 -0400 Reconciling Islamic ethics and feminist projecting ideas regarding gender discrimination https://hazaraislamicus.com/index.php/home/article/view/135
Islam is a complete code of conduct and Quran is the blessing of Almighty Allah to all the world. There is almost every solution present to deal within society. Allah has given us the divine law to follow and set examples for others as well. Every society comes with some problems in it and up s n downs are there. Men and women are the part of every society. Allah had given equal rights to them but men are dominant to some extent by which women supposed that they inferior and men based society has no rights for women. The movement of feminism has a long history. Nothing is based on falsehood but it turns out the struggle of women become a movement and achieved its results but affected many things. These outcomes caused social, cultural, and religious debates in feminist discourse. This movement not only strengthens women’s voices but also some false interpretations also presented regarding feminists’ demands about Islam and women in Islam. These interpretations need to be counter-checked. In this paper the religious aspect and some false interpretations of feminists, their western culture is conferred and the Islamic perspective is presented through Quran and prophetic narrations. There is a comparative method to present the true picture and findings of the research. Women are human and human rights are women rights. A Muslim woman is shown oppressed and depressed in religious rituals as shown by the west, like they are bound inside their houses, not allowed to dress by their desire…etc. The true intention is to inculcate the doubt about women in Islam, the problem is to eliminate misconceptions present in difference of societies. The true picture is presented only by describing the Quranic teachings and rights that are given to women by Islam.
Sadia Yousaf Zia Copyright (c) 2022 Hazaraislamicus https://hazaraislamicus.com/index.php/home/article/view/135 Wed, 01 Jun 2022 00:00:00 -0400
