Abstract

The term "context" in the Arab heritage has come in this form and is expressed in different terms, such as case, evidence, context, position, etc, Whether it is spoken by linguists, rhetorical scholars, Quranic interpreters, or Hadith scholars. Scholars of ancient times have pointed to the importance of context. They said their abbreviated term "for each situation, speech”. "Therefore, not considering the context of the text leads to error in understanding the text, whether this error is in whole or in part.

The context was inherent to our scholars in the Arab heritage, Some contemporary say: Rhetorical Scholars recognized the idea of the conext, nearly 1,000 years, the recognition of the concepts of "situation" and "speech" as two distinct foundations of the analysis of meaning is now regarded in the West as the result of the adventures of contemporary reason in the study of language.

The context is one of the issues that have attracted the attention of scholars in the Arab since ancient times. This led me to choose a field of study, The importance of this topic lies in the importance of context in ancient Arabic studies.
