Abstract

The meaning of Fitna is  trial or test. In Islamic usage, a heretical uprising. Everything that distracts man from his God is called Fitna. The above article examines the literal and terminological definitions of Fitna and the differences between the scholars on the word Fitna. This article explains Fitnah in the context of the Quran and the hadiths of the Prophet. At the same time, we have examined the causes of Fitnah, its treatment, and the reasons for its spread and also we has been discussed the method of eliminating Fitna.
