Condemnation and sanctity of Drugs in Islam research and critical review

Abstract

Narcotic drugs are among the alarming issues in community. Islam as a religion of peace and tranquility protects the and preserve knowledge and wisdom which are severely impacted by narcotics.  Islamic law strictly prohibits narcotics drugs and considers it harmful for the society. In the article, the author has explored the concept of narcotics, its wider meaning and harmful impacts on individuals and society at large. The article further shed a light on Islamic teachings associated with the prohibition of narcotics.
