Need of Scientific and Technical Skills for Preachers in Contemporary Era

Perfection in work and success in influencing others, needs proper course of preparation. One who wants to gain these capabilities, must train himself in a disciplined way to built those skills. Otherwise, it would be challenging to achieve the desiredl results. Islām being the religion of dawah, has focused on good preaching skills. Throughout the Islamic history there are precedents of multiple Islamic preachers who utilized the scientific and technical abilities for managing the time, resources, and circumstances for the propagation of Islām. In this context, a Muslim preacher must be empowerd with basic knowledge, techniques. In this research work, the adequate competencies, precher’s abiliites and his filed of expertise have been thoroughy discussed. The knowledge base includes the religious teachings, contemporary skills, and technologies.
