The Seerah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the most beloved, the truest and the highest biography of this world. The Companions had preserved the sayings and deeds of the Messenger of Allah and every aspect of his life. Every one of the Companions wanted to follow the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in all actions of his life. Therefore, no aspect of his life is hidden. They preserved the Seerah with their actions (Practice) and sayings (preaching). Some of the Companions had also preserved some aspects of Seerah in book form. Urwa Ibn Zubayr compiled the earliest compiled book on Seerah. After that, different Scholars and biographers wrote Seerah books in various styles such as historical, mystical, literary and Muhaddithin style.
In this article, we have not only explained in detail the reality and distinctions of Muhaddithin method and style but also analyzed a few books written on Muhaddithin style in Arabic and Urdu literature.
