دور اليسر والرخاء في تنوّع الشعر العربي القديم
Role of prosperity in diversifications of ancient Arabic poetry
Abstract
Ancient Arabic poetry started its journey in the pre-Islamic era. This was a simplistic form of literary genre. Poets are sensitive creatures of nature in society. Timestamps of the living environment including poverty and prosperity in poetic thoughts are fairly distinctive. Poets under economic stress or in fearful environments have expressed their feelings in a depressing and controlled manner. A comfortable atmosphere proved more fertile for the growth and development of multiple poetic streams both in content and form. Distinctions between free and stressful environments are extensively visible in poetic works of those times. My research hypothesis has boiled down to the findings that prosperity, wealth, and a mentally comfortable atmosphere have played a major role in the diversification of ancient poetry. This I have established while quoting relevant examples from renowned poetic works of those times.
