A Historicle Study of Imamians Scholars and Commentators i n Subcontinent (Indo Pak)

Abstract

Qur’an is a Guidance sent down from Allah.It has been revealed in Arabic.The tradation of interpreting and translating the Qur’an into diffrent languages has been going on for centuries by all the schools of thought.A lot of Experts have been served by the Imamia Scholars and Commentators in various countries around the world. Similarly, the Scholars and Commentators of the Imamia School of Thought have also been interpreted and translated the Holy Qur’an in diffrent languages of the Subcontinent. The Research examined the commentary services carried out by the Imamia Scholars and Commentators of the subcontinent. This Research presents a hitorical overview of the commentary services used in different local languages across the subcontinent. The languages in which the commentary services of the Imamia Ulema have been presented include Urdu, Arabic, English, Persian, Sindhi, Pashto, Gujrati and Balti Languages.
